Zoo PREPAREDNESS
1. Wear clothing that merge with nature. Avoid wearing florescent/bright
colour clothing.
2. Wear comfortable shoes, carry a backpack, water bottle, hat, headphone
(BBP is a silent zone), raincoat, etc. You may have to walk about 2 to
3 km.
3. Safari tickets are limited in number.
4. Facilities:- Cloak room, wheelchairs, Toilets, resting places, hand
sanitizers.
5. Book tickets online.
6. Single use plastic covers/ items are not permitted inside the zoo.
7. Any liquids and essential food items should be securely contained in
a multiuse container in the backpack in order to avoid snatching by free
ranging monkeys.
8. We encourage you to carry back waste generated by you and dispose
it within BBMP limits.

Wildlife Week 2024
Wildlife week is celebrated annually from 2nd to 8th October. This year the celebrations at Bannerughatta Biological Park included various activities conducted along the theme "Wildlife Conservation through co-existence" .
Day 1: A clean up drive was conducted by our security team in the zoo parking area. Awareness sessions were conducted with our Zoo Volunteers and students from Christ University on various conservation themed topics through interactive sessions including street play. Our Zoo Keepers conducted talks on their animals as well as had a conversation with visitors on co-existence with urban wildlife.
